We worked with Transport for London and leasing agent, Appear Here, to transform Old Street Station into a pop-up retail hub. A retail space, that is curated around a new theme each quarter, and rented weekly, monthly or quarterly.
We were lead designers throughout the project, from initial concept and redevelopment of the station interior, to the refresh of current retail and design of pop-up units.
We devised a wayfinding system to help travellers navigate the underground tunnels. Here, colour was wrapped from floor, to wall, to ceiling, giving each tunnel a distinct identity.
As a result, the mood of the space was lifted, and the memorable identity ensured that the space was easier to navigate.
